Re-Newtab - A Chrome Extension
Re-newtab is a free and open-source tab management, bookmarks, and history manager for Chrome.
Re-newtab adds the following features to your existing Chrome browser:
A large collection of customizable and configurable panels to customize the look of the UI to fit your own preferences, allowing you to change the look and feel of the entire application. This is very easy to use and is completely under control of you. With Re-newtab, you can also do a lot of things with your bookmarks and browsing history such as search for web pages, copy the URLs, find out the URLs, and add to favorites and bookmarks.
You can add/remove/rename/move/get/set your bookmarks, history, and open/close/get/set your chrome apps. You can also add your devices so that you can see your synced open tabs on other devices and clear the browsing history. You can also search for downloaded files, and also open them, or open their folders.
You can also set the number of open tabs to always show or never show, along with opening the tab in a new window.
Other features include the options to create, enable, disable, and remove the extension, and to change the default settings. You can also contact the author and give feedback.
